B&E and stolen vehicle in Dresden

Break and enter

Chatham-Kent Police Department officials allege: Early yesterday morning police responded to a break and enter at a business on Community Road in Dresden.

We do not know at this time everything that has been taken.

The investigation is ongoing and there are currently no suspects.

Stolen vehicle

Chatham-Kent Police Department officials allege: Early yesterday morning police responded to a residence on Stephen Line in Dresden to a complaint about a stolen vehicle.

The vehicle taken was described as a white 2018 Mazda CX5 with license plate BYAK702.

This vehicle was also believed to have been involved in a break-in to a business on Community Road in Dresden earlier in the morning.

The investigation is ongoing and there are currently no suspects.

Man arrested on outstanding warrant

Chatham-Kent Police Department officials allege: Yesterday afternoon a General Patrol constable in Chatham located a man in the King and Fifth Street area who was known to be wanted on an outstanding warrant .

The 46-year-old was arrested based on the warrant and later released with a future court date of January 28, 2021.

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Early this morning an officer on general patrol in Chatham located a man in the Witherspoon Street area who was known to be wanted on an outstanding warrant for not not appear in court.

The 17-year-old was arrested based on the warrant and later released with a future court date of January 4, 2021.
