A traffic stop leads to an arrest
Chatham-Kent Police Department officials allege: At 7:15 p.m. last night, a general patrol constable in the town of Wallaceburg initiated a traffic stop on the Bluewater Line.
The driver of the vehicle was found to have a suspended license as well as an outstanding warrant for failing to appear in court and assault.
A 31-year-old Wallaceburg man was arrested and later released with a future court date of May 31, 2022.
Woman arrested on warrant
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Last night at 7.16pm police were called to the area of Queen Street and Harvey Street in the town of Chatham to a disturbance involving two people .
As a result of the investigation, a Chatham woman was arrested on an outstanding warrant for mischief under $5,000 and obstructing a police officer.
She was later released with a future court date of April 29, 2022.
Breaking and entering in Dresden
Chatham-Kent Police Department officials allege: Last night at 11.51pm police were called to an address on Camden Street in Dresden in relation to a break and enter.
A witness saw two strangers enter an unoccupied residence.
The police searched the residence; however, no one was inside.

Disturbance leads to arrest
Chatham-Kent Police Department officials allege: Just shortly after midnight, police were called to a local establishment on King Street West to an ongoing disturbance.
As a result, a 25-year-old female Merlin was arrested for being intoxicated in a public place.
She was transported to Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters and held until she was sober.
