Construction in progress on Parkside in Dresden
CONNOLLYan Atlanta-based real estate developer and investor announced Wednesday Parkside over Dresden, a $70 million mixed-use project in the Dresden to Brookhaven Corridor, is currently under construction. The four-acre site will house apartments and townhouses, retail and dining spaces, and a six-level parking deck. The development will open in mid-2024.
“Parkside on Dresden will enhance Dresden’s thriving, pedestrianized corridor with luxury residential units and a curated selection of restaurants, shops and service providers”, Timothy “JR” Connolly, managing director, CONNOLLY, said in a press release. “We designed this project to fit seamlessly into the surrounding community, which epitomizes city living at its best – this is Modern Main Street.”
Developped by Terwilliger Pappasthe residential component of Parkside in Dresden is called Solis Dresden Village and is comprised of a five-story building that includes 176 apartment houses with a landscaped roof terrace and swimming pool. Seven townhouses provide additional residential options along Caldwell Road.
CONNOLLY develops 30,000 square feet of real estate facing the sidewalk to accommodate 11 retail storefronts and four online dining spaces, with a fifth freestanding restaurant located near the townhouses.
The mix of retail tenants at Parkside in Dresden will focus on “various culinary options, wellness services, independent boutiques and service providers,” the statement said. “We have substantial interest from local and regional brands wanting to open a storefront at Parkside in Dresden, as it offers a unique environment with an extremely strong consumer base,” continues Connolly. “With very few opportunities to establish a location along Dresden Drive, businesses are eager to be part of the last major development remaining in this high-energy corridor.”
