As outstanding and highly visible researchers working in an AI-related field, Visiting Professor Ada Lovelace will be actively involved in various research and teaching activities. The visiting professor will hold a public lecture on the individual research area, thus initiating a dialogue with students and junior AI scholars also as a role model.


The Ada Lovelace Chair will be launched from September 2022. We look forward to your application for a one-time stay lasting 6-12 months in 2022 and 2023.

Our visiting teacher Ada Lovelace receives a basic monthly salary of €5,500. The position should be full time (40 hours per week).

You are welcome to a one-time travel allowance. In addition, you are entitled to a family supplement of €250 per child.

If you wish, a student assistant will be made available to you for the duration of your stay with half of the regular working hours (19h/week). Please let us know in your application.

The host faculty or the central establishment will be supported throughout the professorship with a budget of €500 per month.
