Deutsche Bahn competitor FlixTrain has announced plans to expand its network this summer, offering long-distance trains to 70 destinations in Germany.

The FlixTrain summer timetable returns this week, which means more destinations are on the map again. The company said on Wednesday it would resume connections to 40 stations across the country this week, including Munich, Augsburg, Würzburg, Aschaffenburg, Mainz, Koblenz, Andernach and Remagen.
