New official LEGO stores soon in Bonn and Dresden

Job postings for store managers have revealed that LEGO brand stores will come to the cities of Bonn and Dresden in Germany.

The Brand Retail Store Manager positions in Bonn and Dresden have been advertised for a few days on the official website of LEGO Germany. In job descriptions, the two roles will lead a team of 16 employees, suggesting more hires are likely to be imminent.

Looking at the hiring patterns of other LEGO stores, the hiring of managers usually takes place around two to three months before they are ready to welcome shoppers. If the same timeline rings here, German LEGO fans might expect to be able to visit stores in Bonn and Dresden as early as September or October.

There’s no indication of when the roles will be filled, or the exact location or date stores will open. These will be the 15th and 16th LEGO stores to open in Germany, with another in Stuttgart opening in April.

The flurry of new outlets reflects the LEGO Group’s statement at last year’s International Toy Fair in Nuremberg, Germany, that they will target more adult LEGO fans in the country.

As we learn more about when stores will open, we’ll let you know. In the meantime, if you’re local to the regions, why not apply for the roles? Who wouldn’t want to work with LEGO sets all day?
