The Dresden Courthouse will hold haunted tours on October 28 and 29
People of all ages who enjoy a spooky Halloween activity can take part in haunted tours this month.
Viewings are scheduled from 4:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, October 28 and 29 at the Pownalborough Courthouse, 23 Courthouse Road in Dresden.
Participants can experience a haunted courthouse and cemetery tour with hauntings provided by people representing the ghosts of Pownalborough’s past.
An outdoor fire with seating will allow guests to enjoy the grounds before or after their visit, according to a press release from Christine Hopf-Lovette of the Lincoln County Historical Association.
Tours will begin every 15 minutes and will be limited to eight people. The floors in this 18th century building are uneven and there will be stairs to climb.
A printed or digital ticket is required for admission. Admission is $15 for adults and $5 for children under 16.
Tickets must be purchased in advance online at lincolncountyhistory.org.
